Rajabhau Redij Teacher’s School of Sahyadri Education Institute was established in Sawarde in 1983. This school was started with the noble intention of providing high quality teacher training to the students of rural and remote areas to produce high quality primary teachers. Today we are proud that many students who have studied from this teacher training school are doing excellent service as teachers, center heads, principals, extension officers, etc. 1) Providing up-to-date physical facilities to produce high quality student teachers 2) Providing trained manpower for student teachers 3) Training in changing technology to produce trained student teachers 4) Implementing new educational policies, trends.
