The Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (A.N.M.) program offers basic

contrast, the General Nursing sand Midwifery (G.N.M.)
program is a comprehensive 3 years course covering
medical, surgical, pediatric, and community nursing,
leading to eligibility for registration as a nurse and midwife,

As a registered nurse, you will be qualified to work in a
variety of public or private healthcare settings, academia
and teaching, research, aid organizations, and the defence
force. Careers and specialties include aged care, cardiac or
critical care, day surgery or domiciliary care, drug and
alcohol rehabilitation, Indigenous health, infectious disease
control, medical/surgical specialties, oncology, and
pediatrics and child health. Graduate Nurses, after their
registration with their state Nursing Council, have many job
